Where to begin…

Firstly a big thank you to all the visitors that came out to visit our show, one lovely bride named Gem emailed with this lovely review…

” Hi…Mum and I had the best time. So glad you included different traditions. Due to your show, I have decided to have more Indian elements on the big day. More bright colours, jewellery, different catering options and we are also thinking of booking the drummers you had on the catwalk. It was a fab event and was excellent to get ideas away from the pastel colours and normal wedding cake and boring jewellery. Huge thanks for your hard work”.

This really sums up why the World Bridal Event was created, to allow wedding suppliers from all cultures to exhibit to brides and grooms of all cultures under one roof to inspire and enhance peoples weddings.

As always, our main feature was the Designer Catwalk Show which revealed the winner of our £5,000 Win and Wedding Competition – the lucky couple were Lindsay and Craig who set to marry 24th November – We would like to wish them and all the couples who entered all the very best and a happy life together.

The catwalk segment was a spectacular feature in itself with big names including Aisha Naheed and Sherwani King who  were representing the Asian bridal and grooms wear beautifully. Bolton’s and UK’s only stockist of Pnina Tornai and Eve of Milady showcased an amazing selection of designer bridal and bridesmaid dresses by Amanda Wyatt.

But the star was handsome and young Rio, our page boy who was styled perfectly with suits from Slaters. Local Bollywood dancer Henna Soni returned to our stage to dazzle the audience and we welcomed for the first time wedding singer Adam Sinclair and a fantastic multi cultural performance by D & S Dholis who performed with Alan the bag piper! Videos of which can be found on our social media.

With special thanks to the Catwalk sponsor Z Bridal of Blackburn for beautifully styling the Asian models with accessories from Zerina Jewels and to our official video and photography team – Yaadain Video and Photography; And not forgetting the guys behind the screen who helped make it all happen, choreographer Raj Parmar of Sunrise Radio and DJ Dave Bradley of Double Decks.

The show would not have happened without the support of 60 amazing local and national wedding professionals, some of whom have taken their time to report on the show:

“Thanks for a great  day on Sunday. It was Adams first wedding Fayre and he had a lot of interest and leads from the day” Jill C/o Singer of Songs

“I remember seeing the “No1” of The No1 Multicultural Wedding Show and thinking “yes…it is just the number one show…full stop”. And the beauty of it is I think it will get better and better.” Andrew Wade Photography

“Thank you so much for making my first wedding show so easy! Your amazing at what you do …. here’s to many more!” CST Flowers

Hello, I attended the event. It was great experience, a nice day out, and some tremendous selection of suppliers. Some of them I have already recruited for my Son’s wedding later in the year. I have unfortunately lost the contact details of a charming stall where they were displaying decorations for Indian wedding parties. They sell these products online. Is there any chance you can point me in their direction. Thanks.
