Designers at the WBE!

Over the previous few years, we have worked with and alongside local, national and international designers and thought it was time to share our memories as well as releasing news of our forthcoming designer catwalks shows.

We had our first experience of working with designers in 2014 when we were fortunate to meet Gail Delaney, the amazing designer at Pandorella – UK who showcased a selection of her children’s tutu inspired dresses at both our Lancashire and Manchester shows. Pandorella is an exciting label that caters for little girls who possess unlimited imagination from which they can create their own dreams and magical stories.


25th Jan (Great Victoria Hotel, Bradford) – This was the first time we had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside international Designer Aisha Razzaq, CEO and Founder of Aisha Naheed.  Their bridal designs are inspired by art and architecture from the ancient Mughal period that defines the root of their Pakistani tradition and heritage.

22nd Feb ( The Imperial Hotel, Blackpool) – At our Blackpool show, we discovered the beauty of  Ian Stuart’s designer bridal wear courtesy of Lottie’s Boutique. After a decade working for other leading bridal manufacturers in London and New York, Ian set up his own label in 2003, and went on to become a multi-award winning name in his own right and he is globally recognised as one of bridal’s most creative and innovative designers in the industry.

15th March (Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Lancashire) – It was Ava Rose Hamilton this time who brought an impressive collection of Ian Stuart bridal dresses to our show. The event shown our brides to be that his dresses are ideal for all multi cultural brides as modelled by our beautiful Asian models.

13th September (Macron Stadium, Bolton) – We was extremely excited to have two international designers on our stage at the 1st regional Northwest WBE; representing the African culture, Erinma Bell of Nu Being Designs brought along her formal and bridal designs which went down a treat with the audience. Our second designer was Fatima of Touchwood Boutique representing  Asian bridal wear but also showcased her latest collection of fusion bridal wear, ideal for any bride.

15th November (Craigland’s Hotel, Ilkley) – We welcomed back onto our stage Ava Rose Hamilton who showcased even more of their designer bridal wear by Ian Stuart and who are also stockists of Lyn Ashworth, Stella York, Martina Liana plus many more.

Also exhibiting was the talented designer Maliha Tabani – Nikkhah of Maliha London who has taken her designs to London and is respectively known internationally with her beautiful multi cultural designs in formal and bridal wear.


2016 was the year we combined all our North West WBE’s into one giant event and remained at the Macron Stadium, making the events bigger and better year on year.

Victoria Warehouse Photo shoot – We had the pleasure of meeting and working with designer Soni Kaur of Soni Bal Bespoke when directing a photo shoot for the VW in Manchester this year. Soni Bal Bespoke is a fine and unique collection of one off pieces specialising in vintage, elegant and bridal looks.

Our marketing director, was lucky to rub shoulders again with Soni Kaur at the 2017 Fashion and Beauty Awards where Soni was nominated for a prestigious award.

11th Sept ( Macron Stadium) – Our 2nd North West WBE welcomed local bridal designer Rebecca Griffiths of Rebecca Bridal. Rebecca specialises in bespoke and couture bridal dresses.

The highlight of the show was being honoured with the opportunity to showcase the UK’s 1st collection of Pnina Tornai on our stage. Pnina Tornai has established herself as a renowned top couture fashion designer, often seen on the US TV show, Say Yes to the Dress. The custom made, individually tailored pieces are based on Pnina’s implicit understanding of a woman’s body.


Early on in 2017, our very own Charlotte McCartney was invited to Ava Rose Hamilton’s grand opening of their Colne store which was opened by designer Ian Stuart – this was obviously a massive moment for Charlotte and she was delighted to be in his presence and witness the opening of another beautiful boutique by Ava Rose Hamilton.

Charlotte also had the opportunity to work alongside Aisha Naheed at their solo event, launching the RASHQ 17 Collection which would later be seen at the North West WBE.

12th March ( Macron Stadium) – We was delighted to have a designer menswear brand on our stage – West Midlands based but supplying nationally and internationally – Sherwani King. Their managing director, Moon Rashid  brought an impressive collection of their latest sherwani designs which was received greatly by everyone, especially the grooms to be.

Back on stage, courtesy of Ivory Promise of Bolton was the LOVE collection by Pnina Tornai. Ivory Promise also showcased beautiful bridesmaid dresses by the amazing designer Amanda Wyatt.

The RASHQ 17 collection by Aisha Naheed graced our stage also with accessories complimenting the models by Zerina Jewels. Zerina Jewels is a bespoke couture jewellery designer dedicated to providing unique luxury jewellery pieces to make you look and feel like a princess.       


24th Sept ( Regency Hall, Bradford) – Returning back to our Yorkshire WBE will be Ava Rose Hamilton, who have recently been confirmed as the UK’s 1st and only stockist of Randy Fenoli Bridal, another big name from Say Yes to the Dress US. 

Representing South Asian bridal wear will be Bombay Stores who are stockists of Aisha Imran, Diva by Sana Rashid plus many more and we are very excited to see their beautiful hand crafted outfits on stage on the 24th Sept. We will also welcome on stage Zhora Mohammed from Lola’s Boutique who specialises in made to measure shervani’s, blazers, waistcoats & shalwar kameez.



4th March (Macron Stadium) – Returning to the North West WBE will be Ivory Promise of Bolton. You can expect to see more of what Ivory Promise has to offer including collections by their other famous designers including Eve of Milady, Hollywood Dreams, Luna Novias plus many more.
